Time = Life
We all are slaves of eternal clock
We’re punished at birth for our dare to live
Time = Crime
Time give you joy to wipe it away on very next moment
Time will slow down to let you feel more pain
Time will speed up so you will not enjoy life too much
Time give you all, only to take it back
Time is eternal, but we’re not
Time flies over us, leaves its shadow behind.
Shadow, that will hunt like ghost in forgotten mansion
Time = Illusion
What if all of this is just illusion?
What if time is just carnival mirror that put us in funny shapes?
What if we believed in calendars so much that we forgot that time is relative?
What if we could break the chains and put this concept away?
Time = Fear
We do stupid things
We do stupid things when we are scared
We do stupid things when we are scared of time
We believe false prophets when we are scared of time
We believe that some prophets tell true when we are scared of time
We believe that some prophets tell true even tho they all lie when we are scared of time
We destroy other people’s lives, because we believe that this would buy us endless time
We don’t live our own lives because we believe that this would buy us endless time
We hate each other because we believe that this would buy us endless time
We hate and kill each other for promise of endless time
We hate ourselves for promise of endless time
I want to break free
I want to release myself from prison of time
I must govern the clock, not be governed by it.
I must release my mind
Life = Time
So, I sit and think
Of all things that I’ve seen
And I couldn’t help but wonder
How did it get so late so soon?
I sit with my drink and think
How I, in this great machine
I ended up with bitter grief
Having my whole time still in front
Feeling like nothing more can be done
And I sit with my drink
And think about things that I’ve not yet seen
About people that have yet to see this world
For their time is yet to come
And now I caught myself on fact
That again I think too fucking much
